Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji and respected memebers Please read my understanding on the myth Churning is done with the help of Sarpa and gunas/tattwas. After the churning (Moon -Mind) identifies the demonic/illusionary nature of Time.It reports to Sun(representative of jeevatma) and Sun reports to Mahavishnu(represntative of Paramatma).Vishnu uses SU- DARSHANA( ''Su'' is good or true and darshana is view) Chakra. Thus what has to be seen will be seen. One has to come out of the clutches of TIME,for realization.Time Sarpa is cut into two.Ketu then represents the other side or direction. The image which came to my mind after reading your question, was Lord Krishna with ''Mayilpeeli'' -Peacock feather on his head.Shikhara representing Sahasrara.I would say Sahasrara is just on top of the head than within.Crown is not inside but worn outside.Similarly Shiva having a crescent moon is having another meaning. Sun is the karaka for seperate identity and is prajapathi for we living beings. We feel we have seen Sun.Who can dare to look at Sun? Thus we are just seeing the external rays and light. This light is making us see the external universe. In reality Brahman is that shines within Sun and within us.Sun through prana is the jeevatma within us.SUN has to bless us and give us the inner Eye to see the Real.Until that we can only see the external world through his external rays. Thus he is karaka for seperate identity or EGO.Thus our prayers to SUN and his role as Atma karaka.Only during eclipse Sun is without rays. But we will loose our eye if we attempt. Thus through sadhana ,during eclipse one can proceed.Chandrashekhar jis views on this are fully clear to me now.We should remember Sage agasthya's advise to Shri Rama.
