Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji and respected members I wish to share some thoughts on Shiva and Vishnu. Vishnu is sustainer and is found lying atop Ananta. His pose is a relaxed one.(A karma sakshi?).Again Karma sakshi i feel is the one who looks upon his karmas as a Sakshi(no attachment). Quite often some of us misunderstand this as Lord looking upon our karmas as a sakshi. It is not so.Ofcourse he looks upon our karmas. But in our context -Karma Sakshi ,i feel is looking upon our own karma as if a sakshi and hence devoid of attatchment.Lord Krishna do mention such in Gita. That is the difference betweeen Jivas and HIM.He differentiates this to Arjuna. Thus as sustainer Lord is omnipresent and is symbolised as lying on top of TIME(ANANTA). On the other hand -Siva is Adi Guru and Parama Guru.He is found in a Yogic Posture. As the Lord for destruction,he represents the YOGI ,conquering TIME.For the same reason, for him Sarpa is an Ornament, around his neck. The poison gathered by matter during the course of journey along TIME is drunk by HIM as well. Thus Sankara alone can make us conquer TIME, and yes only if DEVI is along,as well. Mahalakshmi and Mahavishnu gives us all for sustenance during our journey along TIME.Brahma and Saraswati gives every initiation. These are my humble thoughts, and can be wrong.Kindly correct me for mistakes. Thanks a lot for the clues and points -especially the various dieties and vehicles. Guest guest
Dear Pradeepji, Great to see You write numerous mails on The lord and His aspects, specially Vishnu and Shiva. You have certainly spent some time musing on these and done hard work. Good. Please continue this trend whenever you have the time and inclinations. I appreciate your love towards these writings. I will share my inputs sometime else when less occupied.
