Tenth ruler in maraka second along with other maraka ruler Venus. The thing about Saddam is that he has always been lucky. He was a tool of the CIA for many years and finally betrayed by them with the first Gulf war. He was a tyrrant no doubt, but to me he kept things in order of a sorts. His luck apparently ran out when he no longer wanted to keep selling oil in dollars only. In came Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld to rectify that situation. Many layers of intrigue in this situation. Another thing about Saddam is that he had a network of doubles. Is the real Saddam swinging from a rope, or is he on a plane right now to some tropical exile? Ketu a planet of transofrmations is natally in the 12th, the house of loss of life , and sudden violent ends. Mars is transitting over natal Rahu having passed it's natal return and closely aspecting natal Ketu. A violent end at the hands of his enemies is marked by the natal chart and the dasha so it is a clear demonstration of jyotish. He was dignified at the end and let us hope that having paid a full price for his wrongs his soul will move to a higher octave in the next life.
