In the jyotish framework there is some confusion about even *wearing*

a gemstone for appeasing a planet (please educate me with classic

citations oh let us say 16th century and earlier?

 

Not including references to gemstones and planets and in some cases

about donating those in charity! Now that is yet another different

and higher octave!

 

 

The FINGER attribute I think (correct me if I am wrong, with

citations again) comes from western context, in palmistry of Cheiro

and St. Germain etc?

 

Index is jupiter's finger

Middle/madhya is saturn's finger

Ring is Sun's finger

Little is Mercury's finger

 

Thumb must be, I assume, the digit attributed to venus?

 

Moon being just a light must go with the ring finger, devoted to Sun,

the other light?

 

 

What is simply ridiculous is that these powerful gemstones that have

the power of changing our destiny and lifetimes and capable of

absolving us of all our past sins are seeemingly stuck with the fact

that we believe we have a choice! We could wear them on the WRONG

finger and they would be rendered powerless to help us!

 

Ego? Arrogance?? OR JUST IGNORANCE???
