Saddam's Gemini ascendent

Saddam's execution today confirms his gemini ascendent as I had thought it to be in the mail I sent to valist in March 2005.

 

- Mars mahadasha going on.

 

- Mars-mercury antardasha.

 

- Mars in transit over natal mars.

 

- 8th lord Saturn weak in gandanta, retrograde and with ketu.

 

 

If it were Cancer ascendent, as popularily believed, then present Mars Dasha would have not brought his downfall. He enjoyed his rise to power in venus period. Venus is well placed with Saturn, in tenth house. Sun (lord if third house, valour) dasha saw him attempting some other military adventures which subsequently failed. Moon dasha brought sanctions and economic setbacks for Iraq. His powers and weaponaries were reduced to great extent.

 

Mars dasha saw his defeat and capture. Finally, his execution when Mars was in scorpio in transit and exalted in Navamsa. Mars represents his enemies.

Saddam is believed to be born in cancer ascendent on

28-4-1937 in Tikrit, Iraq. There is no precise time available related

to his

birth. But, his behaviour and his downfall do not match with cancer

ascendent. Rather, a gemini ascendent would fit better. According to

it, he

has mars, rahu and moon in scorpio in sixth house. Jupiter is in

debiliation

in eighth house. Mercury and ketu in twelfth, sun is in eleventh and

exalted

venus is with saturn in tenth house. He benefitted a lot in venus and sun

dasha. But, moon and mars saw his downfall. He was attacked in

mars-rahu(assuming his birth time at 10.00hrs), and arrested in mars-jup.

Strangely, he managed to evade americans from June03 to nov03, when mars

transited through aquarius, a fixed sign. But, as soon as it entered

pisces,

he was arested.

But, his exalted sun and venus have given him a lot of

supporters. I

presume that you might be comparing your horoscope with saddam's

because of

these two planets being in exaltation in your horoscope too. Saddam

has all

the chances of bouncing back if he survives mars dasha.
