Bhakta Don Muntean
If only Iranian culture could return to the very distant past... Iran: Lord Vishnu with four arms sporting conch, disk, club and lotus found in a Mosque in Iran. <center> http://www.swordoftruth.com/swordoftruth/archives/oldarchives/lviim.html </center> The above photograph shows the detail of the ceiling, decorated in multicolored majolica, of the Mashhad MOSQUE in Iran. Look to the left of the photograph directly underneath the leftmost peacock's feet and you will suddenly notice the unmistakeable statue of Shree Vishnu Bhagvan seated in lotus pose with Shankh and lotus in his hands. This is clear hard evidence of the fact that many of the mosques in Islamic countries such as Iran were originally Vedic Temples. This can be supported by the fact that the peacock is a bird indigenous to India and central to Hindu religious iconology. The peacock is not native to Iran nor is the use of iconography encouraged by Islam. Figurative sculpture especially is forbidden in Islam as this amounts to idolatory. In addition please observe the typically Hindu stylized lotus pattern background upon which the sculpture of Shree Vishnu is superimposed in relief. One must logically conclude that this photograph is visual evidence of the Vedic Origin of the Mosque in Mashhad, Iran. http://www.salagram.net/VWHMid-East.html
mahak
Thanks, BDM. Unfortunately, though modern man thinks otherwise, we are not going forward. Iraq, too, has glorious history being the first civilization (post partial destruction end of dwarapa yuga). The artifiacts there are of great importance, but only rubble and oil remain. Subsahara Africa, Mali, so many vedic cultures, lost to the chaos of Kali Yuga. haribol, ys, mahaksadasa
