Guest guest
Dear Ramakanta Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! I see you were unable to in any way defend the rebuttals I just gave to your unproven claim: “Srila Prabhupada cannot initiate the delivery of disciples on this planet without being present (incarnated) on this planet”(Ramakanta das) This means that however poor you may allege my understanding of the philosophy surrounding siksa and diksa is (and this in itself is amusing since it was I who had to explain the definition of the word diksa by posting Srila Prabhupada’s statements after you challenged it), you have still not in any way challenged point c). It remains intact since you have not proven that any aspect of diksa absolutely requires the physical presence of the spiritual master on the same planet as the disciple. You won’t even tell us what on earth you meant by the term ‘initiate the delivery’. You assured me previously you were NOT talking about the ceremony, so what does this phrase, that you claim is 'already proved' in relation to physical presence on the planet, mean?? Why won't you tell us if you are so confident it is already proved? It's a complete farce! Please admit that you have, thus far, not provided any statement from Srila Prabhupada to the effect that: “Srila Prabhupada cannot initiate the delivery of disciples on this planet without being present (incarnated) on this planet” This claim of yours preceded your present distractive ploy of asking dozens of questions that do nothing but betray your own ignorance of this subject; so I insist that we draw a line under this matter BEFORE I endeavour any further in untangling your deep, deep confusion over diksa and siksa, though it’s clearly not going to be easy. You can always say something like: "Ok I agree that up till this point I have not proved my claim (above), but once you start trying to answer my latest batch of challenges it will very soon be completely proven" ....in order to 'save face' if you like. That would be acceptable to me. best wishes Ys Yadu Ramakanta (das) HKS (PAMHO.NET SysOp) (Zurich - CH) <Ramakanta.HKS (AT) pamho (DOT) net> Initiations in ISKCON <Initiations.in.ISKCON (AT) pamho (DOT) net> Monday, January 1, 2007 8:00:00 AM Prove your claim or withdraw it. Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > You claim that by diksa guru I do not mean "the guru who imparts or > explains transcendental knowledge". So by "diksa guru" you mean "the guru who imparts or explains transcendental knowledge" (the meaning given by Srila Prabhupada). Well, if in your point b) we replace "diksa guru" with "the guru who imparts or explains transcendental knowledge", then it becomes: "b) Srila Prabhupada never ordered that he should ever stop being the sole guru who imparts or explains transcendental knowledge for ISKCON." Please present some evidence of this claim or withdraw your claim that Srila Prabhupada never ordered that he should ever stop being the sole diksa guru (the guru who imparts or explains transcendental knowledge) for ISKCON. ys Ramakanta dasa ----------------------- To from this mailing list, send an email to: Initiations.in.ISKCON-Owner (AT) pamho (DOT) net
