Meaning:

 

One Who sings the music with notes;

Willingly throughout the worlds in a purposeful way

mounting the bull, going on alms, One Who

has the skin along with the cloth around the waist

- His place is thiruppukalUr surrounded by the gardens

full of blossom of dense flowers and rain showers

nearby.

Notes:

 

1. n^eRi kalan^thathoru n^Irmaiyan - purposeful path.

God is not just playing with us as toys. There is a

purpose to all Its glorious act. It has a great purpose

of uplifting the souls. This is one of the basic tenet

of shaiva siddhanta - called satkAriya vAdam -

meaning "this is all for a good purpose".

2. kuRi - notes; n^acai - willingness; eruthu - bull;

pali - alms; muRi - cloth; poRi - pollen; puyal - rain.
