In Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya,it is the custom and practice of having

a seperate sannidhi for the goddess in almost all divya desams.In

accordance with this practice, the devotees of Sri Ahobila Mutt

Chembur and elsewhere desired to have a seperate Sannidhi for

Goddess MAHALAKSHMI even though the presiding deities of the temple

at Chembur are all with Their concerts viz. Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha,Sri

Lakshmi Narayana, and Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivar.To fulfill their

aspirations and desires His Holiness Srimad Azhaghiasingar the 45th

Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt has kindly consented to construct the

Thayar Sannidhi at a cost of 55 lakhs.It is the tradition in our

sampradayam to construct temples with Bhagavatha Kainkaryam.The

sannidhi is now ready for the MAHA SAMPROKSHNAM. Those desirous of

taking part in this HOLY Bhagavath Kainkaryam are welcome to

contribute their mite to the temple management committe in Cash,

Gold, Silver at temple office at ;Sri Ahobila Mutt, Sri Ahobila Mutt
