Guest guest
> In SB 6.13.8's purport, Srila Prabhupada wrote,"...A child begotten > by a sudra in the womb of the daughter of a ksatriya is called a > ksatta...". This comes from Manu 10.12 and 16. > And Vidura is mentioned as ksatta. But as we know > Vidura was son of Vyasadeva (a brahmana) and servant mother (sudra). > So how come he is called a ksatta? Intriguing. If Vysadeva is considered 'just a brahmana' then according to Manu 10.8: "From a Brahmana a with the daughter of a Vaisya is born (a son) called an Ambashtha, with the daughter of a sudra a Nishada, who is also called Parasava." Hope this helps. Your servant, bh.
