Jai Maa!

Srini Baba reminded some of us last week that the two year anniversary

of the three year Sahasra Chandi Yajna is approaching later this

month. Also it was shared that Shree Maa has said it is very important

that sadhaks chant the Chandi and it seems that it is especially

important for the group chanting of the Chandi on Sunday for world

peace. Am I getting this right?

Anyway, I have been contemplating this and wondered if the

has some brave souls willing to make a sankalpa for the next year,

final and third year of this yajna, to support the energy of the effort.

One sadhak shared with me last week that he is learning one sloka per

day and that it will take him one year to learn the chandi path (700

slokas). Another thought is that everyone, or as many who will, make a

sankalpa to either chant at the Devi Mandir, or for those of us at a

distance, with the webcam on Sundays for the next year. We could agree

that if traveling or for some other reason (time differences) we

cannot do it with the group via webcam, we chant the Chandi before bed

on every Sunday over the next year. This of course would be a minimum.

Many chant the Chandi daily.

Thoughts? Other ideas for ways we can gift Shree Maa and Swamiji with

our sankalpa and support their efforts chanting and praying for peace?

Hi,

Sounds like a plan.

Could you help to clarify something for me.

When you say 700 slokes is that the whole book?

OR P.56 atha devyah kavacam to P. 84. Each of these says they are apendages of 700 slks. Or is that meaning that these are just part of the whole book of 700 slks?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but us new guys have a real hard time with the books.

They don't explain everything of course and know they can't & I have dial up so classes are lost to me except by data base which I am going through at this time.

Thanks for your help.

Not sure Debi. But one correction. The young man must have said he is

learning two slokas a day to get the 700 covered in a year.
