RKM has banned God Realisation Through Reason

Dear Advaitins,

 

Namaste,

 

This is with regarted to 'heated' debate for which mainly i am

responsible :-) by quoting a passage from the above mentioned book

and 'dis-approving' the authors view vehemently.

 

Recently i met a Senior Monk of RKM and personally i asked what is the

view of RKM on this issue. He told me that the book is 'banned' by the

trustees of the Math. In RKM each cetre has got some independance and

the book might have come unnoticed somehow.

 

He told me very clearly that Ramakrishna Math do not entertain such

views and infact some monastics were 'sent out' for sticking on to

such view.

 

Please do not respond to this mail because again some 'heated'

arguements might take place. I thought it is my duty to put this point

in the group as i have got official confirmation from the authorities

of the Math.
