He is the poison for asuras, but actually the nectar for Azhwar. "uppuchAru pOla vandru" The nectar that Azhwar describes is not the one that devas obtained by stirring the ocean. kalivayal thiruppulingudiyAy While devas need to find an ocean to get their nectar (uppuchAru) Azhwar claims that he does not have to go anywhere as the nectar is very much present in Thiruppulingudi, which has fertile fields. vadivinai illA malarmagal matrai nilamagal pidikkum melladiyAi... There is none that can match the beauty of thayAr, Mahalakshmi. Similarly, BhoomiDevi is also very beautiful. Perumal's feet is so soft. Both the thAyar's hands are also soft. With their soft pair of hands, the two Devimars perform kaimkaryam to Perumal. Peumal's thiruvadi would have done a lot of work when measuring all the three worlds in vAmana avataram. Also, his feet would have undergone so much of suffering when walking through the forests in Rama avatAram. koduvinai yEnum pidikkanee orunnaal koovuthal varuthal cheyyaayE Azhwar calls himself as one who has done so much of sins. He pleads to BhoomipAalan for the thiruvadi kaimkaryam atleast for one day, being in the state of a nayika to Him. It was this Perumal who decided to grace Azhwar after getting pleased with Azhwar's maturity in the state of bhakti. Azhwar ends the pasuram by giving two options to Perumal.. "Either you take me with you for the thiruvadi kaimkaryam or come and grace me at my place with your darshan and the opportunity for thiruvadi kaimkaryam."
