Dear Govind/Durga and anyone with the same question,

Thank you for asking for the meaning of the mantra

"Sarvaa baadhaa prashamanam Trailok yasyaa khileshwari

Evameva tvayaa kaaryam asmad vairi vinaashanam"

This mantra appears in Chapter 11 (Verse 39) of the Chandi Path and here

is the translation/ meaning as given by Swamiji

"Oh Spirit of the Supreme Sovereign,

terminate all disturbance in the three worlds,

and in like manner,

remove from us all hostility"

Hope this helps.

Our group sankalpa for this year is to chant this mantra 100,000 times

by the end of 2007. If you are interested in participating, please

respond to the poll
