He invokes Perumal to take him or come to his place and grace him with the opportunity for kaimkaryam. He continues to plead with the second option of Perumal Himself coming to Azhwar’s place as this is more appropriate than the first option because Perumal is the one who possess Azhwar where as Azhwar is just the one who is possessed by Perumal. Azhwar highlights the fact “udayAn-udaimai” relationship between Perumal and jIvAtma. ninnaiyE thAn vEndi ….minnaiyaE sErthigiri vitthuvakOttamA ninnayE than vEndi nirpan adiyenE (Permal Thirumozhi 5.9) Kulasekara Perumal surrenders to Uyyavandha Perumal in ThiruvitthuvakkOdu. He describes about the relationship of “udayAn-udaimai” between Perumal and jIvatma in the above pasuram. Here is what he says to Perumal: “Suppose a person does not give importance to his wealth as he is more devoted to Perumal, the wealth on the otherhand always thinks that its possessor is the one to always depend on. Similar to this state of mind, adiyEn is also very much dependant on you as you are the possessor of everything including myself (soul/jIvAtma) in this world.” kurai kadal kadainthavan thannai mEvinangamarntha viyanpunal porunal vazhuthinAdan satakOpan… Reciding in a place that is filled with full of knowledge and bliss with the waters of Thamraparani in vazhuthi valanAdu, Nammazhwar finally finishes placing his request with BhoomipAlan for grace. nAviyal pAdal ….Ovuthalindri ulamoondralanthAn adiyinai ullathu OrvAraE!
