Guest guest
Hi All, It has been a while! Maa's new sankalpa brought me out of the woodwork! I wanted to share something with everyone that I thought you'd be interested in. Sathasivom Swami (the head of Kalikambal Temple in Chennai) has been traveling around the world very intensely this past year doing Chandi Homas and encouraging his family of sadhakas to do as much Chandi practice as possible. Many people here in the US are doing 1,000 Chandi Parayanams (repititions), others are doing assigned repetitions of Durga Sapta Shloki. What is so interesting to me, personally, is that I have been doing a Durga Sapta Shloki practice for around 6 months now and when I read what the mantra was that Shree Maa had chosen for all of us to repeat, I was amazed (as it is the last two lines of the Durga Sapta Shloki...pp.32-36 in Chandi Path transl. by Swamiji). Last year, when I finished the Planetary sankalpam that Shree Maa had given to all of us, Sathasivom Swami suddenly showed up with all of the homa materials and did a planetary homa in my brand new fire pit. I had mentioned nothing to him about the sankalpa. It just encourages me to feel that what we are asked to do might be helping on a very profound level that we can't even imagine. best to everyone, sadhvi
