Namah Shivaya All,

I went to see another guru just to go but not really feeling drawn

at all. It was a wasted night for me.

I am reminded, too, of a Buddhist Monk who talked with a friend of

mine who was already entrenched in one practice with a guru. He was

considering joining their practice as well. The monk stated: "it is

like travelling down a river with your foot in two different boats.

You may get there, but it's much more difficult than staying in one

boat."

However, bear in mind, I do not know what is best for anyone else. I

simply listen to Amma and whatever She says is good enough for me. I

realize some follow many different gurus. And it does not matter to

me what others need to do or why they are drawn this way. It does

not offend me or cause me any disturbance.

AMMA is all I need or want. I feel so blessed and graced to have Her

in my life. Is this not a miracle? It often feels like this to me.

in Amma,

love

adriane

not to see other Gurus. Recently, a devotee wrote that Amma brought

this up in MI, & was extremely, lucidly clear in what She was saying

about it. It's been said that seeing other Gurus, can be likened to

being unfaithful in a marriage. Following our Guru's instructions

will lead us to liberation, & it's my understanding that merging

with the Divine Mother is our reason for our human births. Sticking

to one Guru seems to be one of Amma's easier instructions to

follow. At least it's easier for me to do that than it is to always

chant my mantra, see God in everyone, stay in the moment, be

consistent with sadhana, etc ...

showered with Amma's Grace & with what I imagine are limitless gifts

& blessings from an infinite God(ess). The worth of the

opportunities Amma offers to us are probably beyond our

comprehension.

Amma has been a big step, as I fled, sabatoged & avoided commited

relationships. Through Her Grace, I've found the one true love that

I've sought all of my life This is a big deal. After understanding

that Amma wants us to stick with Her only, I feel violated by

encouragement that it's OK to see other Gurus. Maybe I feel as I

would if someone encouraged me to date outside of a serious,

fulfilling, commited relationship.

clarification on Her words, and maybe even encouragement to sincere

devotees, regarding Amma's teachings.
