How to Speak Only Truth, to everyone-to Shankari Kali

Namaste Shankari Kali

 

For those people, they have to begin where they are at. Repeating a

mantra over time will bring them light and easy the burdens in their

hearts. As they grow clearer and more peaceful, they will begin to

see the effects of improper speech and wish to stop generating

negative karma to themselves.

Then, they will question what is going on and how to change negative

impulses and create positive ones.

How does this work for you? Are you trying the truthfulness sankalpa?

I agree. Mantra is helpful in quieting the mind. It helps us go inward and be still for awhile. It is helpful on many levels.

 

Truth-telling to me involves a variety of things. It involves being aware of one's speech, being aware of one's thoughts prior to speech, and having the integrity to speak what is true which is not often easy.

 

Awareness of one's thoughts and keeping those thoughts accurate and true can be very healing. Awareness of one's speech can impact how others view us and how we feel about speech in general.

 

Let's say for example that you have a boss who is overbearing, who physically threatened another employee, and who now demands that you write a statement about what he did so that he can inspect it. Do you tell him the truth even though it costs you your job? This type of truth takes integrity.

 

I am currently practicing Gayatri and MM mantra everyday. I find them healing, and I find that these deepen my awareness.
