Now that the Holiday Season is over, the real Festival Season begins. And this

year many exciting festivals are coming up.

First of all Ardha Kumbha Mela is going on in Prayaga. ISKCON has a bigger and

better camp than even the Maha Kumbha Mela, including a corner plot on a major

intersection with lots of preaching facilities. The Padayatra Maharastra Deity

cart has arrived with those wonderful Gujarati bulls with the long horns.

Radhadyuti from Mayapur, who cooks for Braja Mandal Parikrama, has sent his

crew of Nama Hatta devotees to cook, so prasadam is cooked by devotees. Food

for Life is going on every day. Free accommodation for devotees who want to do

service, such as Harer Nama, prasada distribution, or if your still fired up

from the Prabhupada Marathon, there's plenty of book distribution to do, to

millions of receptive pilgrims!

The main bathing days are 15, 19, and 23 January. For information contact

Shrestha Prabhu Mb: +91-9249415977 or email <kumbha2007 >

In Bombay the opening of the Heaven on Earth Phase II will be on 14th January.

There will be a wonderful festival with Ratha Yatra and the new opening. For

more information contact <braja.hari.jps (AT) pamho (DOT) net>

Then there is the opening of the magnificent new ISKCON temple in Tirupati on

Nityananda Trayodasi on 31st January. The festival will start on the 29th up to

the 1st February, including special darshan at the famed Balaji Temple for

ISKCON devotees on the 1st. Please contact <iskconashram_tirupati (AT) (DOT) co.in>

or Guesthouse Manager Sanatan Gaura at ++91-9393607046.

>From Feb 5th to Feb 15th there will be the Fourth Anniversary of Vrinda Devi

Temple at Vrinda Kunda. There will be parikramas going out almost every day

from Krishna Balaram Mandir to the different holy places of Krishna's divine

pastimes. Then on 11th there will be the annual Kalash Yatra, a Sankirtan

Procession with the ladies carrying water pots on their heads all around

Nandagram to Vrinda Kunda where there will be a wonderful feast. Everyone who

has attended before has never forgotten the experience. For more information

about the festival contact <deena.bandhu.acbsp (AT) pamho (DOT) net> or for booking travel

and accommodation contact <iskcon.vrindavan (AT) pamho (DOT) net> or Sanjay at ++91 565

Then of course is the Mayapura Festival starting from 16 February till Gaura

Purnima on the 3rd March. For more information one can visit

<www.Mayapur.info>. This of course is followed by the Vrindavan Festival from

6th March to 16th.

So there are so many ecstatic festivals for you to take part in, so start

making your plans now!

In service of Srimati Vrinda Devi,
