Guest guest
Namaste Chris and Debby: Our daily re-committment and statement of the sankalpa is very important. We start from the same place every day: confirming who we are, where we are, and what we are doing, for what desired effect. For example: each time I sit to perform the mantra, as part of this, or any sankalpa, I state who and where I am, and what I am doing, and that I desire peace for this universe. Even if I do it in English, I still do it. Then I state the mantra, with OM at the beginning. When I have finished my mantras for the day, I thank Maa for the priviledge of being part of this sankalpa. As I understand this group sankalpa, we as a group are working together with Maa to help create peace in this universe. Each time we chant the mantra, we are adding to, and enhancing, the waves of positive energy in the universe. How Maa and the shakti of the universe puts our energy to use is up to the universe. I just envision this wave of positive energy enveloping and flowing thru the entire creation and bringing harmony and order. We are uniting as a group. While we are each taking an individual sankalpa, we are a group whom Maa asked to contribute our time and energy, to help create peace in the universe. We are not alone. We are not isolated. Whenever we begin, we are tapping into the unified common purpose, and from there adding our hopes and desires and the mantra. This is a very powerful event. I want to do it correctly too, and I want us to all work together as a team. A shared purpose is a very powerful tool. Uniting with the Divine is our goal. This is another technique to attain that goal. Jai Maa Jai Swami vishweshwar , "Chris Kirner" <chriskirner1956 wrote: > > Hi Debi, > > Please don't apologize for asking questions.
