Guest guest
Shree Vinayaka -PraNams. My understanding of self-realization is very simple - first it is not a concept - it is an understanding that one self in all and all in oneself - sarva bhuutastam aatmaanam sarva bhuutaanica aatmani - brahma vit brahma eva bhavati - knower of brahman becomes brahman - -are the shruti statements. Vyvahaara continues but with different frame of understanding. I am brahman but utilizing the limited equipments. The upadhis that were left behind are still limited and Iswara will be utilizing those equipments that have to go through their prarabda for loka kalyaaNam or for the benefit of the totality. The concept of time and space are with in vyavahaara - the unreality of both are understood and played with that understanding. One can say the mahatma has realized at such and such time - but that is the statement of the ignorant or for the ignorant. I am ever realized and never bound to realize at such and such a time is the clear understanding of the realized soul. Ego can never realize and aatma need not realize. That I am not the ego but the aatma that is ever from time wise, space wise and object wise - is the realization. Anyway the discussion is interesting and subbu can through some more light on the basis of jiivan mukta viveka. Hari Om! Atman need not realize. Ego Cannot realize. My question is what is the 'mysterious entity that realizes' that - That I am not the ego but the aatma that is ever from time wise, space wise and object wise. The very word knowledge, intution and realisation proves that it was deluded... Yours in Sri Ramakrishna, Br. Vinayaka
