Please could some explain which GOD is represent for “ Poosha “?

Sir,

 

What is poosha ? Which language,object,subject,Noun, adjectiveVerb

month,Sanskrit,or what ? If we get some additional inputs as to the

reference to where has this word been picked up, then maybe at least

I would become little knowledgable.

I been told to worship Lord Poosha ( Star’ Deity ) , as I am Revati ( Star

).

In Mythology Pusa (One of the Adityas)has character common with Agni

and partly with Surya whose daughter he married. He is distinguished

as one who guards the roads, protects man and animals from dangers of

the roads, finds out lost animals and objects. He gives abundance. So

it has the ideas of Poshana (In hindi it means supporting,nourishing).

Pusa being in Meena concerns rivers,it indicates its progress or

development in jumps.
