Guest guest
Namaste Gobinder: Don't worry about this. We have all pretty much had some unusual experiences with this mantra. My theory is that when you first start this mantra it stirs up some things in your life that you need to really look at, and after that you begin to find peace with yourself and others. Guest guest
I agree, best to just go with whatever comes and not get attached, not repulsed or attracted, both are hooks. On a less Wow note, after a four of hours of japa (with a six hour break at the two hour mark) with the mantra on Sunday, I had a good 24 hours of nausea. Curious. Guess I am cleaning house! Guest guest
Namaste Sadhu Maa Maharani! The first day (really the 2nd as the first I just did 1 mala to try it out) I had a bad headache and lots of heat in the head. I did 24 malas that day. I had to stop occasionally. Took tylenol in the morning as I still felt a bit out of whack. Little bit of heat the 2nd day. Now I am pretty fine. Just keep trudging through. Jai Maa! Guest guest
Jai Maa. I think it is helpful to sometimes share these experiences, not to get attached, that is a risk, but in the context of satsang to help each other normalize things. This sort of thing, buzzing at the ajna chakra, headache, pain in the throat, etc., have happened for me before with intense tapsaya. I think in a simple way that it is the heat of the tapasya clearing (in this case) the disturbances in the three worlds of our microcosm...causal, vital and subtle bodies. Thanks Surya. THANKS SHREE MAA, your wisdom is our blessing.
