Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sri Viraraghavan : This incident , where KrishNan travels to Sri Vaikuntam and brings back the children of a Vaidhikan of DhvAraki is covered Srimath BHAgavatham ( Canto X.89) Hari Vamsam: VishNu Parvam ,113 , PeriyAzhwar Thirumozhi: 70, 403 and KurEsar's athimAnusha Sthavam Slokam 58 .As far as I know , it is not in mahaa Bhaaratham . The Vaidhikan complained that his new born infants die a mysterious death and it is the fault of the King of Dhvarakai ( KrishNan) that such deaths took place and demanded KrishNa to bring back the children . KrishNa was busy performing a one day Yaj~nam and asked to watch over the house of the Brahmin at the time of birth of the next child , which was the same day he was busy with the Yaj~nam . Arjuna made a fence all around the Brahmin's house with his arrows and had all defenses. The child was born . Arjuna heard the infant cry for a few seconds and then it stopped . Next , the infant cry was heard in the sky and died down . The infant was found dead inside the house . Arjuna was humiliated by his inability to help the Brahmin , who went back again to KrsihNa and complained . KrishNa knew what was happening and set up his chariot , took Arjuna and Brahmin in that , crossed Prakruthi Mandalam , left the Vaidhikan and Arjuna there and continued to Sri Vaikuntam , where the babies had been retained by Nithya Sooris in the hope that their Lord will come to visit them as KrishNAvathAran. They were now satisfied and released the babies to their Lord. KrishNa brought them back with their old bodies to the waiting Brahmin and made him happy . This is what Swamy NammAzhwAr was referring to in his Paasuram and is comforted by the thought that " What will the Lord not do for us, if we were to resort to His Thiruvadi. I do not have any worry with Him being available to me ".
