Guest guest
Be still and know that I am with you, says the Lord. Be still and know I am you, says the Tao. We are part of nature and nature is part of us. We are held by the Hand of God and we are the Hands of God. Do not try to live as if you are separate. You are not. You are of God, part of the Tao. You are within the landscape. You are elements of the seasons. You are of both heaven and earth. Be known for what you are, and make your actions harbingers of a better future. Flow like water round obstacles. Do not batter your head against a brick wall. Flow under it and when it collapses, you will be long gone. Hold true to God. rest in the Tao, and you will be carried to where the future needs you. ~~~ Martin Plamer International Consultancy on Religion, Education, and Culture in England Page 80, (Opening Our Hearts), Prayers for a Thousand Years, Roberts and Amidon, Harper San Francisco I have been convoked by Love! The true one that creates, awaits, and discovers because it is stronger than death. The one that reaches us from the other side of the zenith and submerges itself in the depths of the nadir. The one that extends my arms toward the infinite And invites me to embrace the cosmos with its tenderness. The one that opens my eyes to the mystery that I am In the unfathomable depth of your eyes And that bestows on me one step at a time victory over fear, Surely taking me to the abundant fountain of life. I have been invited to Love, Whose waves shake My small clay pot vibrantly Yes! It comes from Him. And toward Him I am carried. My entire being gives itself over Ecstatically to His embrace Into the very heart Of beatitude. ~~~ Julia Esquivel Author, Mayan Indian, Guatemala Page 57, (Opening Our Hearts), Prayers for a Thousand Years, Roberts and Amidon, Harper San Francisco
