Guest guest
Hi! My vote is for the "Hugging Saint" Mata Amritanandamayi also known as Amma or Ammachi But Amma is a very common Indian name; so in this case better to use full name: Mata Amritanandamayi known worldwide as the "Hugging Saint" She gave over 25 million hugs in the last 30 years; and can hug up to 30,000 in about 24 hour non-stop-marathon in India; I know this sounds unbelievable; it's a 2 second hug in india; but there are videos and new film "Darshan" and my own experience in India that confirms this. On Amma's India Tours, there are crowds of 10's of thousands and even 100,000 might show up in some Indian cities. On the Japan, Europe and USA tours, the crowds are about a few thousand each day up to about 10,000 recently in Ireland if I recall correctly. Amma spends about six months out of the year on these marathon hugging tours. And at home( Amma's ashram at Amritapuri, India ) about 3 or 4 days per week, Amma hugs thousands of visitors who come there daily.
