Guest guest
Dear All, When I was read the story of Bagala and also her Bija mantra and Gayatri as part of today's sadhana, I was struck "HOW APPROPRIATE" this Goddess is for me. Also for anyone who has a tendency for their words to run away with their tongue. One of these days I will become quiet, respectable, soft-spoken befitting a sadhu, and a credit to my Gurus and their teachings... but until then Bagala Maa has to help curb my tongue .... The bija of Bagala .. when chanted is VERY interesting .... gives a humming sound.... "mmmmmmm" in the brain when chanted... Anybody else feel that ? Also, Bagala means the color "yellow" (Beloved Shree Maa's color ) which signifies peace ... The story of Bagala and the link to the presentation with bija and gayatri is here http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal-4.7.3/node/893 <http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal-4.7.3/node/893> Jai Bagala Maa Nanda , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai wrote: > > > Dear All, > > Day 2 of Navaratri and we focus on Bagala - the second Mahavidya. > > Please read her story and her bija/gayatri and remember to chant > Bagala's bija/gayatri 11 times each today. Guest guest
Namaste Nanda: This is another one I need to work on. I have lost jobs from things I said. Awful. It gives me hope that even a sadhu can be struggling with the same problems that I have. Jai Ma!!!
