Guest guest Posted January 30, 2007 Report Share Posted January 30, 2007 Basically evil spirits are souls which are in state of suffering due to their past bad karmas.Due to these sufferings some of them become evil for others. Some Pretas, Bhootas, betal etc. can do harm to normal human beings and thus can be called as evil spirits. Nishachars means who roam at night. this is also one type of evil spirit.
