Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA so true, Amarnath. it always boils down to the point or moral of the story. which when this was posted i took to be the last sentence; "This shows that when you cherish the Mother and seek God's grace, the blessings of the mother becomes more powerful." after i read this i was thinking that cherish to me means my Faith in The Mother, and seek to me meant the effort put forth to be open to Her blessing or grace. and i thought that considering probably less than 1% of the world's population knows of Amma, i think it is safe to say all here already have Her blessings. i was thinking how Her Love is our Love and that Love is also both the power and the blessing! as Amma says with Love nothing is impossible. we can accomplish any goal. but to be truthful after i read the last sentence i forgot the rest of the story because it reminded me of another story i read within that devotee's letter from Amma that Sweta was talking about earlier. The story was this; "Some years ago, an enlightened saint left his body. It was well known that his closest disciple had also reached the state of enlightenment. When he died, she began to weep. For days, she wept uncontrollably and she wouldn't stop. Finally, the departed saint's disciples came to her and told her that they were confused. They said, "You are supposed to be enlightened, and yet you are weeping like this! How can you be so sad? How is it possible?" She replied, "I am not weeping because he left his body. I am crying for you! I weep because you had him with you, and yet you didn't take advantage of it!" i keep reminding myself cause i don't want anyone to cry for me later. Guest guest
Oh Eric, Thank You so much for the beauty of this reminder! Let us each remind the other to stay awake and consume our Beloved Mother with all that we have. She is our food, and by consuming Her, we become Her (You are what you eat!) Always Hungry and Ever Full in Her, Sanatani ecjensen_us <ecjensen_us > wrote: OM NAMAH SIVAYA so true, Amarnath. it always boils down to the point or moral of the story. which when this was posted i took to be the last sentence; "This shows that when you cherish the Mother and seek God's grace, the blessings of the mother becomes more powerful." after i read this i was thinking that cherish to me means my Faith in The Mother, and seek to me meant the effort put forth to be open to Her blessing or grace. and i thought that considering probably less than 1% of the world's population knows of Amma, i think it is safe to say all here already have Her blessings. i was thinking how Her Love is our Love and that Love is also both the power and the blessing! as Amma says with Love nothing is impossible. we can accomplish any goal. but to be truthful after i read the last sentence i forgot the rest of the story because it reminded me of another story i read within that devotee's letter from Amma that Sweta was talking about earlier.
