fasting on Advaita Acharya's appearance day?

Dear devotees please accept my humble obeisances.

 

Please can someone tell me what the fasting is like today on Advaita Acharya's appearance day?

 

Some people say its a fast untill noon, whereas others fast till evening and when they break fast they abstain from grains like on ekadasi...so what is correct?

 

And what will give us the blessings of Sri Advaita Acharya on this day. Is there something we should observe or do specially?

There is fasting until evening and only anukalpa meaning ekadashi food.
