Guest guest
On the 21st January 2007 there is a very auspicious almost annual but not well known unhurt during which if one worships Tulsi Devi with increased devotion one gets specially great pious benefits from Tulsi Devi which is to get unlimitedly closer to Lord Sri Krishna!! In Delhi & Vrdindavana, India, the auspicious time is as follows: The auspicious tritiya tithi conjunction commences on Sunday 21st January 2007 at 5:10am and finishes at 2:44am Monday 22nd January. As stated in Hari Bhakti Vilasa by Sanatana Goswami: Text 180 kim ca skande vasistha-mandhatr-samvade sukla-pakse yada rajan, trtiya budha-samyuta sravanena maha-bhaga, tulasi cati-punyada. iti. kim- ca-furthermore; skande vasistha-mandhatr"-samvade-in the Skanda Purana, Vasistha Muni tells King Mandhata; sukla-pakse-on the sukla paksa; yada-when; rajan-O king; trtiya-third; budha-samyuta-with mercury; sravanena-with Sravana; maha-bhaga-O very fortunate one; tulasi-Tulasi; ca-an; ati--punyada-giving great piety; iti-thus. In the Skanda Purana, Vasistha Muni tells King Mandhata: "O very fortunate king, Tulasi-devi gives great pious benefits to anyone who worships her on a third tithi of the sukla-paksa when Mercury is conjoined with the star Sravana." Comment: Although in ISKCON Tulasi is worshipped daily, any extra seva done during the above muhurta will surely attract her special blessings like no other time. Srimati Vrindadevi Tulasi Maharani ki jaya!!!! Hare Krishna!! Yours in the service of the servants of Tusli Maharani.
