Guest guest
That may be on the international market... India still has a lot of problems. They can not even provide the basic amendments like telephone and electricity to the rural population. even if they would introduce it, the average worker could not afford to install even a simple light bulb. I see many people do not even have water within their reach. They have to go long distances to fetch water, what to speak of drinking water. They teach the farmers to use chemical fertilizers to increase their yields. Than after some time, the soil becomes useless and the Government forces the farmers to sell their Land, so that they can build factories. ...what a joke.. just because these big Western companies are now exploiting India more than ever, especially by opening liquor factories, does not mean that India is advancing. I see it, that it is more and more degrading. You see the billboards advertising liquor like it is healthy orange juice. people now need to drink Liquor more than ever, to be able to digest the meat that they are consuming. I met a man last month here in Mayapur. He had a "dairy farm" in the middle of Kolkata. he proudly told me that he was a Ghosh and had 500 cows. He keeps them in a three story building. To let down the milk he injects a dose of hormones to his cows twice a day. All bull calves get sold to the slaughter houses. He proudly told me that he gets 5000 liters of milk each day and sells it to the many sweets wallas like VIP sweets etc. you call this advanced? give me a break.. Now we really have to start preaching.. y.s. Hrimati dasi
