Guest guest
Namaste and Greetings Welcome to our group. I am Vishweshwar, Vish for short, and I live in Napa and visit the Devi Mandir daily. I would be happy to help you get started. What is your interest? Do you perform a certain spiritual practice now? Those of us in the group practice a wide range of practices and techniques including: meditation, chanting, fire ceremonies, prayers for peace. If you have a question about a particular spiritual practice, or want to start one, just let us know. Thanks for joining us. You'll find many great friends here. These are serious and fun loving folks, all united in their love of God and living a life oriented towards God. Guest guest
yes, carie, welcome! i'm relatively new also and have a lot of questions too, the first one being, what's the best way to get started? i'm reciting the mantra 100 000 times. that was a difficult thing to start! but isn't it typical to encounter initial resistance? i'd like to be a little more solid in this before i branch out. what i have in mind is the prayer for courage because i'm afraid of life and pretty much everything. so, any suggestions? thanks, donna inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108 > wrote: Bored stiff? Guest guest
Thank you for what you have sent; it seems you know what we have been looking for. I have been listening to the Sandalpa and the only line I have difficulty with understanding the pronunciation is: *trailokyasyakhilesvari* any way I can break it down to learn the sound? either by syllables maybe?
