String Instruments could be captured in the form of oral

History (their Guru Parampara , Highlights of their

careers , the trend changes etc) .

 

The core of the E-books could be the Biography of

Carnatic Music giants of their times , who have made a mark

on future generations all the way down to today their sishya

Dear Dr Sadagopan,

 

This is the first time I saw your work. This is truly monumental and this is exactly what we need for carnatic music also. We need to create a veritable encyclopedia of carnatic music covering musicians, composers, critics, commentators, vocal, instrumental and doyens and exponents past and present.

 

I invite comments and suggestions from other group members. Dr Sadagopan with his immense experience can play a lead role.
