Guest guest
Sat nam! Does anyone know if your eyes should be open or closed when looking at your chin during meditation? Sometimes my eyes simply do not want to close down and then my eyeballs start twitching back and forth and watering up. It's hard to stay focused when this happens. Nimrita K. Guest guest
Dear Marcy, Does anyone know if your eyes should be open or closed when looking at your chin during meditation? * They can be slightly open or closed. We usually say 1/10 open, which many people find helps them stay focused. Sometimes my eyes simply do not want to close down and then my eyeballs start twitching back and forth and watering up. It's hard to stay focused when this happens. * In that case you have the answer for you. We each have to do what works for us. The important point is that we have to be able to focus and keep our focus, in this case on the chin. Blessings, Gururattana

But the most important is to feel confortable even if you have eyes closed or open. Star
