Guest guest
Greetings Kundalini Yoga group, I am writing to you from my new home in Taipei, Taiwan. I moved here from New York, after attending university in Chicago, in 2005. I was certified as a yoga instructor in 2004, in a program that focused on Hatha yoga. In my training I encountered many wonderful, powerful, inspiring, strong, beautiful teachers, studying a wide and eclectic range of Yoga disciplines. I took a liking to many, though preferred the flow of vinyasa, the chanting, and the body-mind connection in the expansion (and creation!!) of energy. When I began teaching, I followed the Anusara style, emphasizing an open heart and beauty through movement. After leaving the states, I found my yoga practice to be less inspired by the love I was feeling in my surrondings. Latley, I have begun a practice of Kundalini yoga. My only experiences with practices outside of my own are a few classes I took in New York (by a beautiful and strong instructor, Shelley,) and a DVD. I have been readng through different online sources and collecting books and readings on how to deepen and broaden my practice. I will continue to share my knowledge and awareness with you, seeing as my sparked interest in Kundalini yoga has brought a great joy to my life. May the creative energy in all of you bring happiness and love to you eternally. Looking forwards to more yoga and education. Om Mani Padme Hum -The jewel of the lotus flower resides within...
