Swamy EmbAr thiruavatAra mahOtsavam - Madhuramangalam

Dear bhAgavathAs,

 

adiyEn moved from thirukadalmallai Sri Nilamangai thAyar sametha Sri

Sthalasayana Perumal temple to witness Swamy EmbAr thirunakshatra

vaibhavam at Madhuramangalam - His birthplace. While moving from

Mahabalipuram, enroute to SriPerumbUthUr, we stopped at Singaperumal

Koil for having darshan of Sri AhObilavalli thAyar sametha Sri

Nrusimhan. When we entered, the power was gone, hence it was too dark

inside the cave temple. Anyhow, bhattars with patience using the oil

lamp took us inside for the darshan of Sri AhObilavalli thAyar and

also Sri Nrusimhan. The utsavar of thAyar and Sri PrahalAda varadhan

was on ready for thirumanjanam. AdiyEn felt bad, coz of power failure

inside the temple, couldn't have darshan properly and enjoyed it. But

on the other side, adiyEn's heart intimated personally that, it is

krupA of Sri Nrusimhar which pushed us early from the temple so that

something is waiting for us..!

After darshan from Singaperumal Koil, we moved to Sri PerumbUdUr -

avatAra sthalam of Srimath Ramanujar - achArya of Sri embAr.

Eventhough the day 31 - Jan -07 was earmarked for Swamy EmbAr

thirunakshatram, adiyEn wanted to have darshan of AchAryar(Srimath

RamAnujar) before Sishya(Sri EmbAr). Hence we dropped there and found

out that, if we were around even 3mins late we would have missed the

darshan of Swamy Ramanujar(moolavar) and Perumal, which justified the

reason for pushing us from the Sri Nrusimhar temple earlier. Then we

were intimated that, Srimath Ramanujar was inside the thirumanjana

mandapam in EkAntam. We purchased KaRkandu, dry fruits for Him.

Bhattar saw and called us inside where EmperumAnAr was sitting EkAntam

on thirumanjana vEdhigai like a simham - YathirAjar. AdiyEn and a

bhAgavatha who came with me couldn't believe such a kind of darshan

and we were totally surrendered to Him and the presence of two eyes

was not enough to capture His soundaryam of thirumEni as stated in

"paRpamena thigazh...". Then we were intimated that, in a minute

thirumanjanam would be performed to Swamy. We waited and enjoyed the

thirumanjana anubhavam. After that everyone received the great and the

most precious EravAdai theeratham of Swamy. We also collected it in a

small bottle.

Then we started to Madhuramangalam around 3.40 P.M. from SriPerumbUdUr

to witness Swamy EmbAr celebrations at his avatAra sthalam. We reached

Madhuramangalam around 4.20 P.M. and were informed that Swamy EmbAr

and PerumAL were already moved to the thiruavatAra mandapam for

thirumanjanam. This thiruavatAra mandapam of Swamy EmbAr is situated

around 0.5 Kms from the temple. Its situated amidst of farm land. We

could see the bhAgavathAs gathered over there near the mandapam. After

thirumanjanam, EravAdai theertham of Swamy EmbAr was presented to all.

It was great krupA of both AchAryars -Srimad Ramanujar and EmbAr -

towards us to receive the EravAdai theertham of both of them at the

same day within in a 30 minutes of time. We mixed the EravAdai

theertham of both AchAryar's and adiyEn took as theertham. Really

adiyEn never experienced the taste of any theertham like that. It was

like amrutham and ailed adiyEns' problem too. After satthupadi, both

Sri Vaikunta PerumAl and EmbAr was taken in a procession along the

streets of Madhuramanagalam around 9.20 P.M. Swamy EmbAr was taken in

Pallakku decorated with flowers (Pushpa Pallaku). AdiyEn captured some

pictures of this and soon post it in a weblog.

Swamy EmbAr, we know is a great AchAryA after Srimad Ramanujar and

couldnt bear the departure of his Acharyar to SriVaikuntam. Hence

Swamy EmbAr requested Thiruvaranga Perumal to permit him to attain

Paramapadam inorder to service his AchAryar -(from ArAyirapadi

GuruparambarA prabhAvam). From vArthAmAlai-312, EmbAr adviced Sri

Bhattar to be sad on the dEha sampandham of AtmA, than the enjoyment

of AtmA due to sampandham with Perumal. This is one of most essential

attribute for every Sri Vaishnavaite.
