First emperumanar Jeeyar Thirunakchathira celebrations at Udaiyar sannidhi - Alwarthirunagari

Dear Bhagavadas,

 

Last sunday (Feb 3 2006) was one of the significant day in aLwarThirunagari eMperumanar temple. Tamil month of thai and makam thirunakchathiram is the thiru nakchathiram of first Emperumanar pontiff HH Sri Thiruvaimozhi Munivan emperumanar Jeeyar.

 

Sri Adipiran grace is such that AchariYar Thiruvaimozhi pillai and Thirupathi jeeyar HH Thiruvaimozhi munivan had a historical significant meeting some 800 years ago. In this meeting, HH Sri Thiruvaimozhi munivan was talking about an event in which Sri Venkatesha perumal instructing him to take up the services in the newly constructed emperumanar temple at Ramanuja chadurvedi mangalam (Alwarthirunagari). Achariyar thiruvaimozhi pillai has just completed the construction of emperumanar temple and it was right time for a head in emperumanar matham. Both the achariya's were happy about this significant meeting and from that day on HH Thiruvaimozhi munivan became very first emperumanar jeeyar in emperumanar matham alwarthirunagari.

 

And this Feb 3 2006 was the tirunakchathiram of the first emperumanar jeeyar. This nakchathiram was celebrated grandly in emeperumanar temple - alwarthirunagari. There was a special thiruvaimozhi goshti to honor the services of HH Jeeyar. This goshti was headed by 40th emperumanar matham pontiff HH Devaraja emperumanar Jeeyar swamigal and followed by recital of following vazhi thirunamam. I have more pleasure to explain the vazhi thirunamam of our first jeeyar swamigal. This vazhi thirunamam was coined during the rein of Archariyar Thiruvaimozhi Pillai and hence we can believe that this vazhi thirunamam has the blessing of achariyar thiruvaimozhi pillai.

Simple translation:

Long live for Servicing Thirupathi Bhagavan

Long live for taking birth on the day of Thai - Magam

Long live for taking refuge with Sri emperumanar

Long live for propagating the Thirukurukoor pride to the world. (Ofcourse this pride contains collection of 4000 diyva prabhantham in kurukoor).

Long live for taking refuge with Sadagopan (Namalwar)

Long live for accepting emperumanar devotees through panchasamskaram

Long live for efffectively praising and speaking on various grandhams

Long live HH thiruvaimozhi muniyan Jeeyar swamigal.
