Advaita for the Novice - Who is the doer-experiencer? -

Dear Seekers,

Inquiry into a very important and vital question is going on.

The question is: "Who is the doer-experiencer?".

The answer to it by any person will be " I am the doer and I am the

experiencer".This is the answer that is given by every one, right

from a shepherd to a great scholar. So from the common man's

standpoint the question has been answered.Then why inquiry has to be

done?

 

But Vedanta or Acharya at this point puts a counter question:

" Are you really a doer or experiencer ? Have you examined it

thoroughly?"

So the next question to be put is " Are you a doer or experiencer?".

To get an answer to this question, one has to refer to THE LIFE

ITSELF . Vedanta or Acharya provides the methodology for inquiry and

verification of the answer so arrived at. The learned and enlightened

readers may please look into this aspect also and this will complete

the whole excercise.
