Guest guest
Our Humble Obeisances, Jaya Srila Prabhupada (We don`t know the actual origin of this one, but nice and funny one) There was a person who came to assembly of devotees to hear Hari-katha. In that assembly devotees often manifested different symptoms of ecstasy, but heart of this particular person was not touched even after many days of hearing Hari-katha and he felt bad. Then one day he came to class and threw some red-chili powder into his eyes. The lecturer noticed the man was crying profusely. After the lecture the Vaisnava who gave the lecture called him and said: "Very nice. Scriptures say that those senses which refuse to practise Krsna-bhajana should be punished. Today you have put this into practise! Srimad-Bhagavatam says that it is useless to keep those senses which are not not engaged in service of the Lord." After hearing this a stream of real tears came from his eyes. ys mrd
