Events in Southern Cali?

Namaste All-

 

My mother has just begun exploring the teachings of Shree Maa and

Swamiji, thanks to a gift copy of "Before Becoming This" that was

sent along with my Yuletide order. When I heard she was enjoying the

material and thinking deeply about the teachings, I ordered her the

DVD "Shree Maa and Swamiji Across the USA" (sorry if I butchered the

title - but I'm sure you know what I mean).

 

She is very new to the teachings, and as she comes from a

conservative Christian background and still very much indentifys with

that path, I know that she is not ready to begin worshiping Eastern

deities. However, she is facinated with Shree Maa, Swamiji, and the

spirit of the teachings, and is generally very earnestly open-minded.

 

I was wondering what resources one would suggest next for her, and

also if anyone knew of events which would be appropriate for such a

person in the Southern California (Inland Empire) area? I live in

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, so I am not familiar with the CA area

events and such.
