Guest guest
NAMASTE Tomorrow is Shivaratri. Since this is Lord Shiva's most sacred and holy day, we should all take a sankalpa, or firm commitment, to repeat His mantra as much as possible. As the saying goes, the more you give, the more you get. Swami has given us this advice about using the mantra: On Namah Shivaya, or any mantra. "I would suggest using the mantra as much as you can, in as many appropriate circumstances as possible. When you are washing dishes, when you are cleaning the house, when you are waiting in line or when you are about to go to sleep. There are so many functions that we all perform where we can keep the mantra going. There will come a time when you will hear the mantra going on inside, as thought there is a tape recorder in the background. You won't have to pay attention to it, and it will be going all the time." May Lord Shiva bless you with the pure bliss and wisdom. May He give you the boon of His divine Vision. Happy Shivaratri.
