Guest guest
Namaste Tonight Swami gave another great Gita discourse. As Karen said on another post, prior knowledge of the Gita is not needed. Swami delivers the most profound information in such a manner that one effortlessly absorbs it into one's being. Tonight one of the devotees asked him if they chanted in their home in harmony with the group in the Temple, would they receive the same benefit and grace as if they were presnt with us? Swami replied that they would actually receive more benefits and grace since they had to work harder to maintain their discipline sitting alone in their home. It really drove home one simple fact: time and space are no barrier to a Master to reach their devotee if the devotee has pure devotion. The old adage, "take one step towards God and God will take 10 steps towards you", was made flesh for me tonight. Please join us every evening Monday thru Friday for the classes, and Saturday night when Maa sings with us, and Sunday morning while we all chant the Chandi together. This is real satsung. The meeting of those dedicated to Truth and Pure Love, supporting each other as we all stive to reach the Highest Ideal of Perfection. I was really touched by the posts the last several days. Each of us is trying so hard to live a good life, and, at the same time, we all want ot help our world be a better place. And a special thanks to Nanda, Kumari, Ramya, Srini, Gautum, Gauri, my beautiful family. You all inspire me with your constant focus on helping Maa and Swami bring this knowledge to all Creation. May Maa bless us all with pure devotion. Jai Maa Jai Swami vishweshwar
Guest guest
Namaste Dear Vish, Thanks for sharing these words. The few Sundays that i was able to join the family in reciting the Chandi or even if listening to one of the Archived classes, i enjoy the motion of offering of rice to fire it does make one feel a sense of togetherness … .as though in the same place. Grant us pure love and pure devotion, this is my constant prayer.
