Guest guest
Much gratitude to Swamiji for a wonderful class on the Gita tonight. It was a great way to spend my time working at home, and filling my work with divine presence. Especially wonderful to me was his answer to a question on Tamas, clearing up any negative associations to it, reminding us that Tamas is necessary and good! Sleep nourishes our bodies. This discussion of Tamas took me into a sweet meditation on Maa Kali and Her black skin, the black pupils of Her eyes, and Her infinite masses of black hair, reminding me that no matter how much I am in service, or how much I work to support my small family, it is always good to rest and rejuvenate, to take care of this physical vehicle that enables me to do my spiritual work in the world. Guest guest
Namaste: I also enjoyed the Gita class. I had a problem with my messenger. It kept doubling everything I posted. If anyone knows how to stop this, let me know. I'm on my second reading of the Gita, and everytime something new seems to come to light. Swamiji's explanation of the Gita left me with quite a bit to ponder. I wonder about how certain decisions we make in life. I wonder if we have to ponder which evil outweighs which. Often we make decisions that we think are good, but are based on our own ulterior needs. Often what is evil and what is good is not really clear cut. Peace, Shankari Kali Sundari <erin.johansen > wrote: Much gratitude to Swamiji for a wonderful class on the Gita tonight. Guest guest
Namaste Shankari, Thanks for your message and questions! Swamiji will be teaching chapter 18 today and then we will have time for questions - also there may be time for questions on tomorrow too - Why not ask your question then? I have had the messenger show double messages too - but it was only on my machine! Others saw it only once! Regardless, please do join in class and asking questions! We all can learn a lot together! Jai Maa! Anybody who wants to join in Q & A with Swamiji please download messenger and add "mandirclass " as your buddy!
