Guest guest
Namaste In Gita study Friday night, Swami was asked how a devotee can make it through a tough situation. He told a personal story. Instead of 50 pound bags, 80 pound bags of cement were delivered to a site where Swami and several other devotees were creating a foundation for a project for Mother. They had to carry them up the mountain. Rather than moan that the task was too hard, and say, "woa is me", Swami chanted Mother's name with each step and thought how blessed he was to be able to serve Mother in this way. Succeeding in a task depends on the attitude that we take, and chanting the name of God. He said we should always think of the "priviledge of service", rather than the pain of the task. And, we should always chant the name of God, every chance we get. Until, it goes on by itself forever. Mother gives us many situations in which to demonstrate our devotion. It is up to us to choose how we will face it. Now we know what to do. Jai Maa Jaii Swami vishweshwar
