Guest guest
NAMASTE Tonight Swami completed Gita study. What an experience. I highly recommend that anyone who missed the class, visit the www.shreemaa.org and check out the archived classes. They can be downloaded for free. They are priceless. Imagine you wanted to change your life. Who would help you? You cry out, "I'm confused, there is a constant battle between good and evil inside me. My mind is spinning out of control. Which voices do I follow? The "good" or the "bad"? How do I tell the difference? Who can guide me thru this maze? How will I know truth when I see it? What is "truth" and "freedom" and "dharma"? Please, someone help me. Suddenly in the Devi Mandir, the brightest of lights burst forth, and there appeared Lord Krishna in the form of Swami. From His lips, a story flowed out. It sang to every cell in my body, heart, and mind. It is the Bhavagad Gita, The Song of God. The greatest story, a drama of the greatest of Kings, and a family torn apart by the great ego. And wonder of wonders, this ancient story spoke to me-in my deepest heart of hearts, to the core of my mind, to the depths of my soul, this story explained how and why I suffer, and how that knowledge can set me free, and, what is the nature of that freedom. Last night, as the final words of the story rang in the air, the challenge was clearly stated: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul. Every minute seek to serve Him. Surrender everything to Him, give up the fruits of your actions, all attachments, place them all at His feet. Don't hold anything back, and when you think you have given everything, dig deeper, and give some more. Use the knowledge of Gita to stop thinking about MY COMFORT, and instead, FOCUS ON SERVING GOD, WITH EVERY BREATH, WITH EVERY THOUGHT, IN EVERY ACTION. PUT GOD FIRST, BUT NOT AS A MARTYR, BUT AS A MOTHER SERVING HER CHILD, FULL OF LOVE AND THE PRIVILEGE OF SERVICE. We have been handed the highest gift. Now it is up to us to use it. Are you ready? Come to the Mandir. This is the place where you will learn about seva, selfless service. And when you depart, you will bring that gift to others. This is the place of pilgrimage. I hope to see you soon. Don't delay. Jai Maa Jai Swami love vishweshwar
