Guest guest
Hello everybody. Greetings to all. I am very new to the world of devi and her apaar mahima. Can you please guide me how to go abou reaching devi? What mantras do I chant. How do I get saudarya lahiri and other mantras? Is there a web site I can visit or a book I can buy? Guest guest
Hi. Here is a link to the Devi Gita (Song of Goddess) where She goes over the numerous ways of approaching Her. Quite a lot of it you most probably won't understand at first. That should not overtly concern you too much. The thing then is to seek out understanding by asking specific questions of people in places like this or googling unfamiliar terms or words until your understanding broadens. http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/dg/index.htm , "random_cerebral" <random_cerebral wrote: > > Hello everybody. > Greetings to all. Guest guest
Thanks I appreciate it. I am a little surprised that lot of members of this group chose to ignore my question and not guiding me in my venture! taurusmagnus <taurusmagnus (AT) (DOT) co.nz> wrote: Hi. Guest guest
There was a message for you here: /message/25732 When the advise given is apt, no one else will reply. Moreover, if any asks for advise on how to start, it is better what is their background. If they are familiar with sanskrit, their mother tongue, general familiarity with spiritual texts (if any)? Neither your initials nor your email id gives any clue as to your origin or your knowledge of sanskrit or any of Indian languages in which the texts are available. Thus, giving a little background info will help in getting advise. Also, browsing the home page of Shakthi Sadhana will help if someone is completely unaware on how to approach Devi. , h p <random_cerebral wrote: > > Thanks I appreciate it. > I am a little surprised that lot of members of this group chose to ignore my question and not guiding me in my venture! > > taurusmagnus <taurusmagnus wrote: Hi. Who knows if the time is right, you might be subjected to shock therapy, that will probably wake you up from your illusion. Then maybe you might want to change your id to disarrayed random cerebal. What I am amazed is people come here, post questions and expect to be attended to immediately. Perhaps the first step that you should learn to understand is the virtue of patience.
