Sri Ahobila Mutt,Chembur, Mahalakshmi Sannidhi Mahasamprokshanam

A new sannidhi within the existing temple complex for Thayar Mahalakshmi

has now been added at Sri Ahobila Mutt,Ramanuja

kshetram(Chembur),Mumbai. The MAHA SAMPROKSHANAM was held in a grand

manner on 9 Feb 2007.His Holiness Srimad Azaghiasingar was present at

all stages of the ceremony,startng from morning Aradhanam,Maha

Poornahudhi at Yaga salai, performed Mangalasasanam at the new Thayar

Sannadhi apart from being present during upanyasams by Srikaryam(Ahobila

Mutt) and Sri Ananda Padmanabhan( Nrismhapriya).Srimad Azaghiasigar took

keen interest for proper conduct of the event.His Holiness said he is

feeling less painful and was determined to be present on this important

occasion.The Acharyan said that everything that adorns the Moolavar and

Utsavar(gold jewellery, silver items) is almost equivalent that can be

seen in a divya desam.Dr.Varadachari,senior physician and president Sri

Desika sampradaya sabha ,Mumbai was present during the entire

samprokshanam.The Kalyanothsavam for the Divya Dhampadhis was performed

in the evening in a grand manner befitting the occasion.Throughout the

day devotees in thousands visited the temple and witnessed the Maha

Samprokshanam and Kalyanothsavam.The Sannidhi has been built with very

liberal donation from Sriman Ramani of Chembur who also presented

almost the entire gold jewellery and silver items.A new seperate albums

are already uploaded with captions,'Sri Ahobila Mutt Sri Mahalakshmi

sannidhi samprokhanam' and Kalyanothsavam on samprokshanam day'. The URL
