'aravindhalOchana!' enREnREnNaindhirangumE. (TVM 6.5.8)

Parankusanayaki's friends contInue their narration of their friend's state. This time around, they describe the life of the people and hence the bhOgam enjoyed by the Perumal in this Divya Desam.

As the people in Thulaivillimangalam keep repeating the vedic chanting, the vedas also seem to be more perfect than they were recited earlier. This phenomenon coveys the right meanings of vedas. Not just this, the bhagavathas living here also perform a lot of yagyam . These are not the kinds of yagyams performed to get materialistic benefits, but are performed just for the sake of Kaimkaryam to the Perumal residing here. With the vedic chanting and the yagyams performed just for the sake of bhagavat and bhagavatha kaimkaryam, thayar Laksmi is very happy to reside here and hence the prosperity of this Divya Desam. Perumal has her as his consort, and He also lives here.

All the prosperity of this Divya Desam along with the tamiraparani river add to the bhOgam of this Divya Desam. This has resulted in more bhOgam in Thulavillimangalam as that of Paramapadam itself.

Paramapadan is on the northern bank of river viraja. Similarly, Thulaivillimangalam is on the northern bank of Tamiraparani. Parankusanayaki is to the south (Azhwar Thirunagari) of Tamiraparani and standing facing the direction of Thulaivillimangalam. She wants to get there.

'aravindhalOchana!....

With her beautful dark eyes, she enjoys the sight of her lover's abode (Thulaivillimangalam). As she continues this, her eyes blossom and enlarge due to excitement. She also contiues to stand in posture where she has her hands befolded. This state has become permanent for her since the time when you took her to this Divya Desam. Her mouth is alsways reciting the name, AravindalOchana. Subsequently, she is loosing all her energy and she is tired because of this separation from her lover.

Did anyone pity her because of this state? If so, were they just the sentient things?

Let us see what the friend community says about this aspect in the next pasuram.

(To be continued...)
