*The mASi magam utsvam is famous for perumAL going on a divine procession to

the nearby seashore and have a divine bath. Sri souri perumAL visits

Thirumalai rAya paTtiNam. ThiruindhaLur perumAL , Parthasarathy perumAL

nearby seashore.*

*EVen otherwise, 10 days festival, 5 day festivals culminate with mASi

magam. In Sri perumbUdhUr it is 5 day utsvam. In Srirangam it is a big event

with theppOtsvam being very famous.*

*The ThirukkOshityUr theppam attracts large crowd on this day from all

corners of tamilnadu. It is a part of brahmOtsvam for mAdhvan.*

*AzvAr thirunagari perumAL also celebrates this utsavam.*

*Sri KulasEkarAzvAr who longed for Thiruvarangan and a die hard rAma bakthA,

blessed us with his divine birth on mAsi punar pUsam.*

AchArya-s -Sri vudayavar-s Thirumudi sambandham-and his thirunakshathiram is

mAsi magam.*
